ECO PRINTING WORKSHOPS
Forget fast fashion.
This is slow cloth, natural chaos and wearable art.
Spend the day getting your hands dirty as we work with native botanicals, natural dyes, rust and time to transform ordinary fabric into something completely your own.
No two prints are ever the same. No formulas. No copy-and-paste outcomes. Every mark tells the story of the materials, the season and the process itself.
Bring Your Own Wardrobe Workshop
Bring five forgotten, tired or unloved pieces from your wardrobe and give them a second life.
Using native Australian flora, natural dyes and rust patination techniques, you'll transform everyday garments into one-off pieces that carry the colours and textures of the Australian landscape.
This isn't upcycling.
It's resurrection.
Workshop Details
Duration: 5 hours
Investment: $250 per person
Group Size: Minimum 5, maximum 8 participants
Materials: All botanicals, dyes, rust components and eco-friendly materials supplied.
What You'll Learn
- Eco printing techniques using plants, rust and natural fibres
- How to prepare fabric for natural dye processes
- Plant selection and ethical harvesting practices
- Rust patination techniques for layered colour and texture
- Care and maintenance of naturally dyed textiles
- Sustainable alternatives to fast fashion
- How chance, chemistry and nature become part of the design process
What to Bring
Bring five pieces made from natural fibres such as cotton, linen, silk or wool.
Shirts. Dresses. Scarves. Jackets. Shirts you've loved to death. Pieces you've never quite known what to do with.
If it's natural fibre, we'll see what happens.
Synthetic fabrics don't play well with natural dyes, so the wilder experiments are best left to cotton, linen, silk and wool.
